Maze Coloring Page
Maze Coloring Page: The Crab at the Beach
This beach is drawn in black lines only, ready for crayons. A crab waits at the start, a sandcastle stands at the far end, and a wide road with two outlined edges winds across the sand between them, with a few side turns that stop. Around the road there is a whole beach to color: the sea at the top with a boat and a fish, a palm tree, a parasol, a beach ball, a bucket and a starfish.
The page asks for three things in a row. First the child finds the crab's way and draws it. Then the whole road is colored in, from edge to edge, which is careful coloring inside a wide band and good practice for hand control. Last comes the beach picture, colored any way the child likes. Finishing the maze before the picture gives a natural order to the task, and a colored road is a clear way to show the answer.
The page prints as a PDF, works as a screen version where the child drags the crab's way and presses Check, and comes with an answer key with the road filled in. In the same family, the first maze with the puppy and the hedgehog orchard maze are drawn in full color. These are picture mazes with a story; square-grid mazes, dot-to-dot and word sorting have their own pages.
