Times Tables Worksheet
Times Table of 5: Skip-Counting Fives
This worksheet lays out the times table of 5 in full: the ladder from 1×5 to 10×5, one fact per row, an answer box for every product. The child multiplies row by row and watches the most rhythmic pattern in all the tables assemble itself down the page: 5, 10, 15, 20 — the last digit forever alternating 5, 0, 5, 0, so every answer announces itself before it is even checked.
The 5s ride on a chant most children already own from skip-counting, and this page turns that chant into fact knowledge. The deeper prize is the anchor system it creates: because the 5-facts become effortless, they turn into landmarks for harder tables — a child who owns 5×7 can reach 6×7 by adding one more seven, and 4×7 by taking one away. The 5s also live on the clock face: five, ten, fifteen, twenty is exactly how minutes are read past the hour, so this ladder quietly doubles as telling-time preparation. The 5-0-5-0 ending pattern even gives children their first self-checking tool — an answer ending in 3 is instantly, visibly wrong.
The PDF prints free — try climbing the ladder out loud like the chant it secretly is. The times table of 10 shares half its answers with this one and makes a natural partner page, while the table of 3 is where the real memory training begins.
