Find the Differences Worksheet
Find 10 Differences in the Garden
Ten differences is the hard page. Two garden scenes, one with a kite and one with a ladybug, are each drawn twice, and five things change in every pair, with a row of five tick boxes under each. The changes here are allowed to be small: a flipped bird, a slightly smaller butterfly, a cloud that moved a little, a detail gone from a drawing. A grade-2 child who found the seven-differences pond page easy is the reader this sheet is written for.
Searching for ten small changes is sustained attention work. The two-pair layout gives it a structure: finish the kite pair, tick five boxes, then start again on the ladybug pair. The numbered tabs 1 and 2 on every picture keep the comparison inside a pair, because the two scenes share the same sky and could be confused at a glance. Circling each find as it is made, before ticking, stops the common error of counting a difference twice.
The PDF prints both pairs on one sheet; the tap screen stacks the four pictures with the same badges and a bar between the pairs; the answer key rings all ten changes with numbers, five per pair, so marking takes a minute. Easier siblings in the find-the-differences family offer three, five and seven differences. These pages compare two pictures of one scene; mirror drawing, colouring by number and odd-one-out puzzles have their own pages.
