Sight Words Worksheet
Sight Words Set 6: Have, They, With, This
This page closes the sight-word series: set 6 brings have, they, with and this, the last four words of the twenty-four-word collection. Each word takes a row of handwriting lines — read it, trace the dashed model, then write it alone on the empty line. Children who have traveled the whole series will recognize every part of the page; only the words themselves are new, and after this sheet, none are left.
These final four are heavy lifters. They and this do the pointing work of English — every conversation leans on them — while have and with appear in so many written sentences that a reader who hesitates on them hesitates constantly. Th is also the star sound of the set: three of the four words open with it, so the page doubles as quiet digraph practice without a single phonics drill. When these four are instant, the child owns a core vocabulary that carries a surprising share of any beginner book.
Print the free PDF, finish the series, and celebrate a little — twenty-four words is a real milestone. The natural next stop is connected text: a short read-and-answer story like The Red Kite lets the child meet all their hard-won words doing real work in real sentences.
