About this activity

The whole is 10 and one part of the number bond is already filled — say 7 — and children tap the empty part to add counters until both parts together make 10. It's a free, interactive Kindergarten math activity that runs right in the browser with no account and no sign-up.

Every number from 1 to 9 has a partner that completes ten, and here the child builds that partner by adding counters one at a time and watching the two parts grow to 10 — not by reading a fact off a page. The bond itself is the answer surface; the child stops when both parts make exactly ten, so a too-small or too-big part is easy to feel and fix.

It is aligned to Common Core K.OA.A.4 — finding the number that makes 10 when added to a given number. No timer, no score — just calm, playful practice.
