About this activity

Otto the owl illustrates a short four-part story — folding a paper boat, a robin building a nest, a caterpillar turning into a butterfly — then reads one part aloud and children tap the picture that shows that exact moment. It's a free, interactive Kindergarten reading game that runs right in the browser with no sign-up.

Every picture choice comes from the same story, so the child cannot win by spotting a random matching object — they have to know which moment each illustration shows. Hearing the whole story first, then matching one spoken sentence to its picture, ties the words and the pictures tightly together.
